SNC Mini-Scuffle: Power Rankings

1. Grumpy Bears
These future ZGG Gold league participants look strong in every lane, and their new starting mid laner --  Dark Kreutz (Socileo) is taking over for DarthSunTzu --  has already displayed his prowess in last night’s scrim versus Sunset Ravens. From our scouting department, “there are no foreseeable exploits here, and the core three of HilkTV, Natoa, and Nocent seem to have a lot of time put in together.” We’ll see if any of the other SNC teams can put up a challenge against Grumpy Bears, but for now, these are the favorites to take it all!

2. Radiant Twilight
Featuring a support carry in RGE Wildstar that can help his laners get fed — or take over the game himself — Radiant Twilight will have the type of jungle and top pressure that will enable their ADC to scale into late game. Radiant might be the newest SNC IBS team but they’ve been practicing the most lately, so we’ll put them at number two on the power rankings.

3. Sunset Ravens
As one of the best mid laners in the tourney, substitute SNC Mayhem always has solo kill potential. Every other lane here is also super solid, with the bot lane duo of Xandradraeda and whatbotlane already established as having winning synergy. Edit: Scorpio Darkwood will take over support duties for whatbotlane today, so with that unknown X-factor, we’ll slot Sunset Ravens just below Radiant Twilight.

4. Sun Guardians
Working with just two of their regular players — SNC Hades and SNC Titan — the Guardians could find themselves lacking in coordinated team play. ADC sub SNC Cerionna has high carry potential — assuming he doesn’t run it down — and adding super-fill CT Albedo to the jungle will turn that into an area of strength heading into the Scuffle. Sun Guardians are hard to guage on paper, but could have a dark horse chance to take it all.

SNC Brawl 2023: WK1 / WK2

Welcome to SNC Brawl, our mini-league where we play for fun! It’s six weeks of theme madness and we hope it’ll go well! We split up the teams--each week--by ELO and go from there, who knows what'll happen! [  Rules  |  Sheet  |  Stats  |  Twitch  ] 🔵 Blue: SNC Big Bear, ToukasRage, SNC Cerionna, Macros2308, JasonKBoy23 (GM1/3), EGirlFox (GM2) 🔴 Red: BigBoyPK, Adarasto, EGirlFox (GM1), huskyrunner18, Saint Millay, SNC Silent Bear (GM2/3) WK1GM1 Our first week for Brawl action was a simple “hello, getting to know you” gathering that featured faces old and new in an all-out battle on the Rift, featuring the different regions of Runeterra. First up would be The Void versus Targon—monsters versus gods, or something like that. Morally suspect versus morally suspect! The spicy bot lane of Soraka / Taric (piloted by SNC Cerionna and Macros2308) could only be matched by the Leona top (JasonKBoy23) versus a traditional Kai’Sa / Vel’Koz and a Cho’Gath. Thi...

SNC Winter 2023: Player Profiles

We did player profiles after split two and here we are again! As mentioned before in the regular season recap, SNC had twenty-seven players that hit the Rift this season and we're here to take a look at all of them! [ Split 2:  Part 1 | Part 2 ] SNC EJooN After a trip to the homeland before the split, EJooN came back from Korea leveled up and ready to finally make his debut in comp play. And what a debut it was as he truly made a name for himself in LBL Commercial, with one article even highlighting how EJoon had “blown expectations out of the water…[as an] aggressive player who [isn’t] afraid to take risks to build leads…and [EJooN’s] performance in every series so far reflects that.” It’s hard to believe that EJooN joined SNC as mostly a Mundo main, and now dominates with all sorts of top lane champions. With a fierce competitive drive, EJooN has shared with us that he also dances competitively… will we ever see his fancy footwork off the Rift? We sure hope so! Champs Played: ...

SNC Mini-Scuffle 4: Gold-ish Division

Fellow Snack Bears it’s time for the fourth mini-Snack Scuffle Invitational! That also means it’s the long awaited roster update and power rankings by yours truly, Cerionna. Getting right into it, I've crunched the numbers, done about a million calculations—maybe lost a scrim recently, who knows—and I believe without a doubt this list is flawless. During this past preseason, anyone who has followed the SNC competitive teams knows how much each of these teams has improved, changed, and hit gold. But I don't think there's a single team that has done each of those more impressively than the number one pick…  [ Scuffle 4 IBS Preview ] #1 Radiant Twilight What an absolute journey this team has been on! This is the third (or fourth?) iteration of this team, and anyone can see that they’ve finally hit their stride. With non-stop dedication to improvement, this team embodies the SNC spirit better than any we have seen. Radiant has been constantly adapting, learning, and scrimming. ...
