Astoundingly, SNC is so far an unbelievable 13-1 through three or four-ish weeks. There’s been stomps, there’s been comebacks, there’s been grudges--between teammates and teams even! But at the end of the day, SNC is batting 0.928, which is unfathomable to SNC fans who are used to seeing victories come few and far between. Once again, thanks all for playing and thanks all for your time spent in this peaceful life simulation called Cats and Soup. Keep chopping those carrots you little felines!
Sunset Ravens (4-0)
Rising to the top of their division in BOL IBS, Ravens have set the pace for Zaun. After starting off the split with a win versus TD Dusk, they had two easy walks to hit 3-0. Entering WK4, they faced Revolutions Per Minute, a more challenging opponent.
Dropping GM1 refocused the Ravens and GM2 was a forty-minute thriller that saw Xandradraeda’s Zeri take over in team fights to end the game. The deciding GM3 game was another forty-minute banger as the opposing Malhazar kept the Ravens locked down. However, with WildStar’s Sett grabbing Sion into the enemy backline and OnlyMagicalGirls’ Lux deleting Rev’s squishes with one spell rotation, Ravens pulled out the come-from-behind win.
Now entering the back half of the regular season, Ravens will face a tough schedule to close out the split but they’re clearly up to the challenge and should finish strong. Also, with Otom transitioning off as coach, AmandaThePanda (aka SNC’s best mid laner) will be pulling double duty as coach for Twempest and Ravens.

Twempest Fwame (4-0)
Leading all of LBL Economy with twelve points, Twempest Fwame is one of the two remaining undefeated teams from both groups. Having dropped just two games in four matches, Twempest has been mostly unchallenged on their way to top. Each loss has turned right back around into a dominating victory and WK4’s blood feud versus Trifarix Souls was SNC Xplosiv’s chance to rectify some roster shenanigans that Trifarix tried to pull off. Instead of invalidating Twempest’s roster, Trifarix instead got an Olaf axe to the face, scarring their face and reputation.
Shout out to SNC Shiraori and SNC Arvos, who are both in the top five for least deaths—across the four SNC teams—with eleven and fourteen respectively. With a playoff spot already locked up for LBL, Twempest will look to finish out the rest of the regular season with aplomb. Next week they hit the Rift against Group B’s second place team, Sub Optimal Gaming, perhaps to secure first place? [ Twempest WK3 vs Ginyu Force ]
Extra: Amanda the Beloved drafted Malphite twice this past week, once for top and once for jungle. Jungle! Both were victories, of course.
Dreaded Dawn (3-0)
Up against Clown 9, Dreaded was faced with a unique challenge in their WK3 matchup. Clowns apparently field a very large roster and then spin a wheel to determine which lanes each player will play per game. [We love this idea!] Obviously this made it a very difficult matchup to scout and Dreaded suffered their first loss of the season in GM1.
Undeterred, Dreaded drafted a Veigar and Senna bot lane—and EJooN’s Pantheon top—to rampage over Clown in GM2 to even up the series. After a break for Clown to do all their random lottery clown stuff, Dreaded took the match behind SNC Cerionna’s 9/0 Xayah and SNC NumNums’ 11/2 Diana.
There are still six undefeated teams—out of thirty—in LBL Commercial, so it’s hard to ascertain where Dreaded is situated in the overall league, but so far so good! They are one of the four teams with a league-leading nine points, and with three weeks to go that should be playoffs at the very least.
Currently, SNC Cerionna and SNC NumNums lead SNCall of SNC with sixty-two and forty-six kills respectively—SNC Xplosiv also has forty-six—while SNC Talon has 128 total assists, setting the pace in that category.

Ethereal Midnight (2-1)
As the least experienced SNC team to the comp scene, Ethereal has faced both internal and external challenges. Internally, the roster has been a bit of a churn, with ex-captain SNC Polaris leaving after WK2—Polaris is now playing for Cat’s Poro League team. Coach Falcon has had to deal with a rotating roster and finding new players galore. Externally, Ethereal dropped a 0-2 match versus Naughty Sharks, despite a commanding first game lead.
Reeling from some internal issues prior to this past Sunday’s WK3 match, Ethereal pulled together a basically all-new roster—minus top lane stalwart SNC Antares—and righted the ship with an efficient, and much needed, morale boosting win versus Barbecue Boys. That victory leaves Ethereal in prime playoff position, as LBL Economy Group A is still wide open.
The new-look Ethereal now features milesbeeeen in the jungle, EvaUnit099 mid, BioMatrix at ADC, and a combination of eelfish and Iampancakes57 at support. With roster lock for LBL around the corner, the hope is that this will be the lineup moving forward.
Extra: Ethereal is transitioning to their own server and perhaps their own org after the split. In the meantime we still cheer for them as SNCs! And a (hopefully momentary) farewell to captain SNC Altair and mid laner extraordinaire Imítheos, who have both decided to step away from Ethereal but could be back soon with future SNC teams.
