Style League: SNC vs SNC

SNC Mighty Pandas vs SNC Space Sloths A rip in the time space continuum—okay fine it was just a time change—has given us this epic matchup of SNC versus SNC. Like a throwback to our Snack Scuffles of yore , Sunday night will see two SNC teams face off for a huge prize: um, respect? Extra doughnuts at practices? (Is this our first official intra-org battle in an organized league? We whiffed on last split’s potential LBL Commercial playoff matchup between Twempest and Dreaded so I think it is!) Let’s take a quick preview of tonight’s Bo3 and get hype! We'll also be making our debut as official Twitch Affiliates, so we expect to break all our ratings records with this prime time showdown. Thank you to PK for working so hard to get our fifty subscribers and to do all the behind-the-scenes work setting up the streams and Twitch stuff. And also a huge thank you to Squishy Rainbow for doing our SNC overlays and that spinny blue thing on the wait screen which is apparently done frame by fr

SNC End 2023 Recap

What an end to our fourth, or fifth split, we can't even recall! In a shocking turn of events, SNC is now an org with championships! 🏆🏆 Two of them in fact! How did this happen?!? I have no idea, but it’s certainly due to the time and effort you all have dedicated to LOL and to each other. “I wouldn’t give up the community of SNC for the world. It’s a really great [and] positive community.” For this split, we had a smaller amount of teams by design. Less mouths to feed, more snacks for all! 🧁 Hopefully that still made it a fun time for everyone and for next split it looks like we’ll grow by a team or two, as post-split, you’ve indicated that you’d like to have more SNCs hanging around. As always, we’re here to serve at SNC. Thank you for a wonder end of 2023 all! Let’s look at last splits’ three teams, a SNC Pack throwback : [ Mighty Pandas | Twempest Fwame | Dreaded Dawn ] And lest we forget, we made two podcast episodes too, with WildStar and Adarasto, and Amanda and Xand

SNC Mighty Pandas: End 2023

SNC Mighty Pandas (Series: 5-2, Games: 11-6) As one of our longer running teams, Sunset Ravens was formed back in SNC’s new era , having started about four splits ago. Last year’s leader, SNC WildStar, returned for duty once again and found himself surrounded by new faces—which also induced the name change to “Mighty Pandas.” While under heavy recruitment from other orgs and teams, WildStar knew his home was here at Snack Bears, where the snacks are salty and the jokes are sweet. New jungler eaglei1313 came via Twempest Fwame, as a friend of Amanda’s. Phallic Phenom and JamiesTurnTV were both new to SNC, teammates from a past Glacial teams And last but never least, there was Adarasto, who played with SNC’s own Grumpy Bears way back when. Over time, eaglei1313 had to unfortunately take a sub position due to time constraints and so another ex-Grumpy, XtheBeard, joined Mighty as the starting jungler. The core Mighty four played all fifteen games together this season, with XtheBeard gett

SNC Twempest Fwame: End 2023

SNC Twempest Fwame (Series: 7-1, Games: 15-4) With last year’s championship loss still ringing in their heads, Twempest decided to move up to Commercial this season—from Economy. Although slated to have much the same roster, as it turned out, there would be quite the turnover as some players swapped out due to time constraints. So who would be on this new version of Twempest? Remember way back when we had—for a brief time—a team called Gnar Gaurdians? It was Amanda and her friends as a five stack, all new to SNC. Unfortunately GG didn’t actually get onto the Rift together but for this end of year 2023 split, some Gaurdians would be making their debut, including vaunted head coach—and the real power behind SNC—AmandaThePanda! Newly redubbed as SNC Bwahaj, Amanda and two of her former Twempest consultants would join the team: SNC Gweat Snake (IamXolus / Trey) in the jungle, replacing Arvos, and SNC Xiamuwu (Xiamul / Weaver), taking over as ADC. SNC Xplosiv returned as top lane extraord

SNC Dreaded Dawn: End 2023

SNC Dreaded Dawn (Series: 6-2, Games: 12-8) After last split , we were pretty dead certain that Dreaded was going to be put out to pasture. After a playoff showing and a 5-2 regular season in LBL Commercial, many of the DD members were going to be short on time—or patience—for comp play. However, as the next split deadline bore down, SNC PK started wondering if maybe Dreaded should be resurrected. Shockingly, SNC Cerionna was also on-board, and thus DD crawled out of the grave, hungry for another go! With the goal of having a nice and chill season, this second iteration of Dreaded Dawn featured a few semi-newcomers: onfire1342 (mid), SquishyRainbow (sup), and DepressedBleach (top). Both onfire and Squishy have been around SNC before—especially Squishy—dating all the way back to the Radiant Dawn days. As for Depressed, his time with Snack Bears extends even further back, so far back that he’s one of the fourteen “Boomer Bears.” However, this would be Depressed’s—and Squishy’s—first tim

SNC Brawl 2023: WK6

It was a thrill of a Brawl season, thank you all for participating! We had twenty-three participate in at least one game, and hopefully it was a fun time for all! Forgoing the detailed recaps of each game—mainly because it’s been awhile and I forgot!—we’ll just cover the themes and a few brief notes from the week. [ Rules | Final Standings | Sheet  | Recap WK1/2 | Recap WK3 ] WK4 Mirror Match The game was afoot as everyone had to play the same champions against each other.  Each lane opponent would take turns choosing who would be played each time. GM1 was a thrilling Fiora, Diana, Naafiri, Tristana, and Bel’Veth. Note: EJooN bought and brought Naafiri’s skin right to first-timing the champ, who was just released that week. Cerionna’s Tristana cleaned up the game with a 12/3/5 KDA, with Mr Vitis’ Diana also posting a lovely 9/2/6. During the ARAM, SNC Cerionna popped way off with a 34/9/16 Kalista, and while the kill count was even by the end of the game, there wasn’t much Nilah (A
